KEYNOTE FOR ANNUAL USERS CONFERENCE ANNOUNCED

Pace Industry's Terry Clark to Speak

 

Bridgman, Michigan, August 14, 2017 - B&L Information Systems, the leading industry specific ERP software for foundries and die casters, has announced Terry Clark as the keynote speaker for their annual users' conference, Spectrum 2017. Hosted September 24th thru September 26th in Tucson, Arizona, the Spectrum conference features two days of classroom learning and numerous networking opportunities for metalcasters.

Terry Clark is the Director of System Implementation and Training at the corporate office of Pace Industries. Clark's keynote will focus on a topic he deals with on a daily basis, organizational change management, at one of the most diversified die casting companies in the world. Clark was previously the Director of Training and Development at KMC Telcom Holdings Inc. Clark holds an MBA from Almeda University.

In addition to Terry Clark, Spectrum attendees can look forward to the participation of other leaders in the metalcasting industry. Mark Danly of Danly Consulting Services will be presenting a class on Quality using his real-world experience in ERP installation and manufacturing solutions. Endorsed by the AFS Women in Metalcasting, Shelly Dutler, Director of Education at the American Foundry Society, will present a class on utilizing the "Technique of the 5 Whys" for root cause identification.

Outside the classroom structure, Spectrum attendees will have the chance to participate in industry expert-led round table discussions on a variety of topics from eCommerce (hosted by Radley Corporation), to CRM use in manufacturing, industry use of data analytics, production and inventory innovations, and more. A panel discussion by Jason Robitaille of Fonderie Poitras (Quebec), Megan Sokolowski of Maynard Steel Castings Company (Wisconsin); Larry Kramer of Smith Foundry Co. (Minnesota); and AJ Menefee of Eagle Precision Cast Parts (Michigan) will also allow attendees to learn about solutions and challenges from the actual experiences of other Odyssey users.

Spectrum, B&L's customer conference for Odyssey software users, starts with an optional afternoon golf outing and an evening customer welcome event on Sunday, September 24th, followed by two full days of classroom education sessions. Classroom sessions typically include numerous mini-class options, several sets of panel discussions, customer case studies, and a hands-on shop experience room. Additionally, B&L staff is also available for in-person meetings to review any company specific questions.
