AMERICAN METALCASTERS CHOOSE ODYSSEY ERP   

B&L Signings and Go-Lives for Q1 of 2024 

 

Bridgman, Michigan, April 3, 2024 – B&L Information Systems, Inc., global leader in ERP software for metalcasters, is proud to announce additions to the Odyssey family of customers, both new signings and customers now installed with Odyssey. 

The following three companies went live with new installations of Odyssey ERP in the 1st quarter of 2024: 

  • Dart Casting – Alsip, IL. Dart Casting provides customers with a manufacturing partner that can handle any aluminum die casting project. From innovative tooling to machining and finishing services, Dart Casting is your one-stop-shop for American-made and competitively priced aluminum die-cast products. They cast high pressure aluminum die castings up to 25 lbs. in part weight produced for almost every industry and for countless applications. From one die casting machine in a tiny garage-sized space to 14 die cast machines and 100,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, Dart Casting has grown to meet the needs of their clients 

  • Morris Bean – Yellow Springs, OH. Morris Bean & Company started as a part of Antioch College and has grown to their current 185,000-square foot facility on 60 acres in Yellow Springs, Ohio. They utilize gravity and low-pressure casting processes to cast aluminum alloys in the 300 series. Molding methods include Antioch plaster, Air-set sand, and cold-box sand in combination with permanent and semi-permanent molds. Their gravity pour process has the capacity for up to a 4,000-pound casting. 

  • Cast7, LLC. – Hibbing, MN. Located in Northern Minnesota, their skilled employees bring products from the concept stage through completion or develop customer-provided models into prototypes, production patterns and permanent molds. Cast Corporation supplies to many industries including mining, pumping, recreation, and heavy industries.  Some of their clients include U.S. Steel, Cleveland-Cliffs, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Polaris, VESCO Dewatering, and GPM, Inc.    

 

During the January – March 2024 timeframe, new metalcasting companies signing to the Cloud-based Odyssey ERP software system included:  

  • Prospect Foundry LLC – Minneapolis, MN. Since 1936, they have delivered on their promise of quality craftsmanship and transparent partnership. Today, they are geared for the future through the integration of modern technology, producing trusted castings in a fraction of the time for industries that make America run.
