B&L Signings and Go-Lives for Q4 of 2022 

 

Bridgman, Michigan, January 9, 2023 – B&L Information Systems, global leader in ERP software for metalcasters, is proud to announce additions to the Odyssey family of customers, both new signings and customers now installed with Odyssey.

During the October – December 2022 timeframe, eight new metalcasting companies signing on to the Cloud-based Odyssey ERP software system included:

  • Ramsden Industries Limited of London, ON. Ramsden was established by Jack Ramsden in 1946 in a small garage in downtown London. Ontario. Today, Ramsden remains family owned with the third generation of the Ramsden family, growing from a home-based operation to a leading North American supplier of aluminum casting services.

 

  • State Line Foundries, Inc. of Roscoe, IL has over 50 years of experience as a high-mix, low-to-medium volume production iron foundry. They are a jobbing foundry producing a wide variety of iron castings weighing up to 2,500 lbs. State Line combines technical expertise, vast experience, the latest technologies, and structured processes to deliver quality castings on time from their separate foundries located about five miles apart.

 

  • Kansas Castings Inc. of Belle Plaine, KS. Founded in 2007, they are an iron foundry with in-house capabilities including Heat Treat, Machining, and Patternmaking.

 

  • Applied Metallurgical Corp of Gilmer, TX. They are nimble, bold and have the goal of ReShoring of American Manufacturing using world class people, processes, and equipment. This is an Iron and Steel Foundry operation utilizing no-bake and v-process molding processes.

 

B&L Information Systems announces two company additions to the Odyssey family of active users who went live in the fourth quarter of 2022.

  • Southwest Steel of Longview, TX. Established in 1971 their facility includes two separate foundries on 31 partially wooded acres. They work primarily with mining, shipping, energy, transportation, and construction industries throughout the world.

 

  • Grede - Iron Mountain of Kingsford, MI. Grede is an independent company that designs, engineers, and manufactures high-quality ductile, gray and specialty iron castings for automotive, commercial and industrial markets. Headquartered in Southfield, Michigan, Grede’s 10 foundries and 3,800 employees offer complete precision machining and finishing services, as well as assemble diverse components into complete systems. The Kingsford location was founded in 1947.
