UNITING INFORMATION IN ONE ERP SYSTEM

Alabama Brass Foundry Selects Odyssey

Bridgman, MI, December 17, 2015 - In early December, Lee Brass of Anniston, Alabama became the latest metalcasting foundry to sign with B&L Information Systems. Lee Brass will be switching from a generic ERP combination of Epicor and Dataworks to the metalcaster-specific, all-inclusive Odyssey ERP software system.

Specializing in lead-free brass, Lee Brass was founded in 1917 and employs 275 people. Lee Brass provides complete service from design engineering to shipping, and is the largest supplier of threaded brass castings in the USA. Lee Brass will be using Odyssey to improve their inventory control; to incorporate their certification needs into their ERP system; and to have real-time data access for KPIs and production meetings.

This marks the 13th metalcaster to join the Odyssey family in 2015. "This is the time of year when many businesses focus on planning for the next year. This is exactly the time to begin planning how to be more efficient and leverage your current assets to the greatest effect," states Matt Gacek, Vice President - Business Development, B&L Information Systems. "Lee Brass will enter 2016 with a plan in place to be live by the fourth quarter of 2016; and they have the strategic benefit of entering the next year ready to improve their efficiencies and make better decisions through data."
